Mexican Inspired Layered Dip

Serves 6-8


Your favourite Kurrajong Kitchen Lavosh

435g can refried beans

2 tsp chilli sauce, plus extra to serve

1 tsp smoked paprika, plus extra to sprinkle

salt & pepper, to season

300ml sour cream

1 avocado, diced

1 cup grated tasty cheese

1 tomato, diced

2 green shallots, thinly sliced

1/2 cup coriander leaves, picked

1/4 cup canned black beans, rinsed & drained well


  1. In a large bowl combine refried beans, chilli sauce, paprika and season with salt and pepper. Spoon into a serving bowl.
  2. Stir sour cream until thin and drizzle on top of refried bean mixture. Top with avocado, cheese, tomatoes, shallots, coriander and black beans. Sprinkle with extra paprika and drizzle with extra chilli sauce.
  3. Serve with your favourite Kurrajong Kitchen Lavosh.
